Contribution of AED 10 Million to One Billion Meals Endowment

Azizi Developments, in 2022, announced a contribution of Dh10 million in support of the ‘1 Billion Meals Endowment, the largest in the region to feed underprivileged and vulnerable groups, including children, refugees, displaced people and those affected by crises and disasters in 50 countries.

The campaign, organized by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI), was launched to coincide with the start of Ramadan and is based on the values of giving, charity and humanitarianism. Targeting contributions from individuals and institutions in the UAE and around the world, it is centered on the concept of sustainable community contributions to provide essential food requirements to the most vulnerable groups.

The “1 Billion Meals Endowment” campaign stems from the UAE’s aspirations in humanitarian aid, and the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, in supporting human solidarity. The campaign, said to launch a food endowment fund at a value of AED1 billion aims to help the vulnerable communities in dozens of countries around the world, during the holy month of Ramadan.
