AED 100 Million Contributed to One Billion Meals Endowment

As part of its diverse CSR efforts, Azizi Developments announced a contribution of AED 100 million in the year 2023, the largest donation of all. The One Billion Meals Endowment is a social movement driven by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, that is purposed to curb global hunger in underserved communities.

The contribution secures food parcels that are sent to the disadvantaged in 50 countries across four continents during the holy month of Ramadan, as part of the initiative organized by Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI). 

The “1 Billion Meals Endowment” campaign reflects the UAE’s commitment to humanitarian aid and the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, in promoting human solidarity. The campaign, said to launch a food endowment fund at a value of AED 1 billion aims to help the vulnerable communities in dozens of countries around the world, during the holy month of Ramadan.
