Azizi Foundation Pledges AFS 1 Billion for Afghan Refugees

To help alleviate the suffering caused by the forced eviction of Afghan refugees from Iran, the Azizi Foundation is donating AFS 1 billion in immediate humanitarian assistance.

This crisis, which has displaced thousands and strained already fragile communities, has gravely saddened me. It is a human tragedy that demands urgent attention and a unified response.

I call on all relevant national and international organizations to act swiftly and decisively to address the scale of this humanitarian emergency.

I have instructed our teams on the ground to travel to Herat without delay to begin distributing aid and supporting affected families with the resources they desperately need.

To our fellow Afghans enduring this hardship: I offer my deepest sympathies. May you find strength amid adversity, and may you be able to live once again in peace and dignity in your own homeland.
